New Playset is Here!!!

We have been debating the purchase of a new play set for the backyard and looked at a few...so when we gave up and decided not to purchase one, we then saw the costco one greatly reduced. We ordered it and a huge semi-truck delivered it to our house! Andrew has been waiting for the delivery! He was so excited!

Good thing we were home to help the guy get it off of the truck! It was extremely heavy and he thought he would kind of drop it off of the truck...which we are sure would have meant a broken play set!

Andrew's First Day of PreK

I can't believe that Andrew's first day of PreK is finally here! He is very excited to come to school with me every morning! I was a little nervous of the transition for him, so we will see how it goes from here!

Labor Day Weekend = Time to Close the Pool

Yesterday it was warm and sunny and we were enjoying swimming in the pool...today, cold and yucky--sweatshirt weather. So I guess it is time to close the pool :(

Why not have hot dogs for lunch over the fire pit? Andrew's idea of course!

Zoo Trip

Perfect day for the zoo! We went on the Dinosaur trail that is the temporary exhibit and it was actually really neat!

Helmets Required

Andrew said helmets were required for this ride...no pants for Audrey and that was ok

Another Beach Day

Beach Pals

My sisters friend at work has two children that are the same age/gender as Andrew and Audrey. They met us at the beach for the morning and we had the best time! It didn't take long for the kids to warm up and there was plenty of digging and wave jumping! It was so fun to watch the kids at the waters edge. Audrey would let the waves wash over her and it didn't bother her one bit! Everyone had a nice nap after our morning!

Michigan City Zoo

My mom and I ventured to the Michigan City zoo today. It is a small zoo but perfect for a little outing! They had 3 tigers that were born right around Audrey's birthday. They were very active and Andrew and Audrey loved watching them...almost as much as I did! We were so close to them! They also loved feeding the baby goats. It was so cute how Andrew was talking to them. He was very sweet. And Andrew and I waited patiently for the birds to land on or near us so we could feed them!

Post Dinner Bike Trip

We biked to the beach after dinner. It was a beautiful night! We stopped for ice cream on our way back and Audrey was in heaven with her own cone! She screamed every time I attempted to wipe up any drips. The people next to us thought it was funny...either that or they thought she was sassy (like I do)!
