Zoo Trip

Perfect day for the zoo! We went on the Dinosaur trail that is the temporary exhibit and it was actually really neat!

Another Beach Day

Beach Pals

My sisters friend at work has two children that are the same age/gender as Andrew and Audrey. They met us at the beach for the morning and we had the best time! It didn't take long for the kids to warm up and there was plenty of digging and wave jumping! It was so fun to watch the kids at the waters edge. Audrey would let the waves wash over her and it didn't bother her one bit! Everyone had a nice nap after our morning!

Michigan City Zoo

My mom and I ventured to the Michigan City zoo today. It is a small zoo but perfect for a little outing! They had 3 tigers that were born right around Audrey's birthday. They were very active and Andrew and Audrey loved watching them...almost as much as I did! We were so close to them! They also loved feeding the baby goats. It was so cute how Andrew was talking to them. He was very sweet. And Andrew and I waited patiently for the birds to land on or near us so we could feed them!

Post Dinner Bike Trip

We biked to the beach after dinner. It was a beautiful night! We stopped for ice cream on our way back and Audrey was in heaven with her own cone! She screamed every time I attempted to wipe up any drips. The people next to us thought it was funny...either that or they thought she was sassy (like I do)!

Long, Summer Day

Andrew's First Trip to the Movies

My mom, sister and I took Andrew to his first movie at the theater today. We saw Cars 2, complete with a giant popcorn. We watched Cars so he was very excited to go see the new movie. I'm not sure how much he understood of the movie and I have to say I was quite disappointed. It was more of a shoot em up movie...I couldn't believe it. Andrew only seemed interested when the cars were racing. Of course he had to go to the bathroom twice and that took a while. And he thought it was funny that grandma fell asleep! Overall, I think he had a great time! I forgot my camera...I was so disappointed! But thank goodness for cell phones, even though these did not turn out that great!

Curious Kids Museum

Brian is out of town, we are in New Buffalo...so an adventure to the Curious Kids Museum in St. Joe is where we headed today. We had a great time exploring the two museums, having lunch and finally riding a carousel! Andrew has not been interested in a carousel ride but when he saw the Nemo one, he was thrilled and quickly changed his mind. I of course wanted him to ride the MSU horse...but was willing to let it go! Audrey was not so sure of the whole thing, but like usual, she was dragged on to follow her brother. Usually she wants to do everything that he does!

Andrew keeps saying he wants a hammock, so he was so excited to try this one!
