"Christmas Morning"

We had Christmas morning on the morning of Christmas Eve because we are heading out to my grandma's for Christmas and we didn't want to be rushed.

Gingerbread Fun

The neighbors came over for dinner and gingerbread fun! You can see that this year I got the house that came already assembled. No zip ties needed for Brian. We had lots of extra treats and frosting! You might notice the paint job in the background. We picked out a new shade of green for the dining room but we have yet to paint....just can't find the time.

The mint is falling off of the top of the tree because Andrew licked it before putting it on :)

Santa Claus

Day 2 of the Snow Days so we headed to the mall to see Santa Claus. Andrew was so excited and all smiles until we got up there to see Santa. He looked at him for 2 seconds to tell him he wanted a garbage truck and then he didn't look at him for the rest of the visit. I looked through all of the pictures and he wasn't looking at him in any of them. Audrey was very curious. She kept touching his beard and looking at him.

Hello Santa

Snow Day!

We had a Snow Day today!!! Andrew woke up and begged to go outside! He said "Look the sun is out!" It is sooo cold! So after nap we headed out for a little bit to put the accessories onto the snowman!

Making Sugar Cookies

We baked a ton of sugar cookies for Andrew's Christmas party at school. I had some helpers to frost and decorate! Suprisingly....Andrew didn't really have any frosting. He only wanted unfrosted cookies!

First Big Snow

It started to snow early this morning. We headed out before lunch. It was pretty warm out and a really wet snow! But good enough for us. We got out the shovel and the sled. We went around the block twice...a good workout for me and Andrew loved it when I ran while pulling the sled! Then the neighbors came out and started to build a snowman. That's when Brian and I switched. I'll post the finished snowman tomorrow!

I wanted to take his picture and he replied, "Momma I have to do some work."

Spartan Basketball Game

We took Andrew & Audrey to their first Spartan basketball game at the Palace. MSU played OU and only won by one point! Good thing we had aisle seats by the exit. Andrew enjoyed walking up and down the steps. It was a home game for OU so I was disappointed that Sparty and the band did not come. Andrew kept looking for Sparty...he gave up and had to search for the Grizzlies. Audrey wore her new Sparty bow...it was a hit with the fans next to us. She fell asleep after the half.

Tree Glasses

Santa Elf (name for Elf on the Shelf) dropped off these Christmas Tree glasses today. Andrew thinks they are so funny and when he puts them on he says "You're green!"
