Camping at Grandma's on "my bed"

We got a single air mattress for the floor at my parents and Andrew loves to say that he is "camping" on the bed. It works for us since we all share a room!

I took this picture really quick with my phone...he didn't want me to take a picture of him (which is a new thing). We bought this froggy potty that he helped pick out at his favorite store Target. So far it has NOT been used....only for a hat!

New Bike Trailer

We bought a new bike trailer...and have already gone to the park and for ice cream. Of course only one of us can go until Audrey gets older...but Andrew has had a great time riding. He likes to look out of the little windows (that's what he calls them).

Andrew loved helping Brian put up the trim in the living room. He had a hard time holding the huge pair of safety glasses on while pulling the trigger!

Power's Out!

The power has been out for a long time...going on 24 hours and it is hot! The kids finally fell asleep. We told Andrew we were camping in the living room. We put his sheet on the pull out couch. Of course as soon as he finally fell asleep around 11ish, the power came on a half hour later. Audrey fell asleep without being swaddled but it took a while.

Doctor Hull

Andrew was playing with his doctor kit. He was giving Audrey and I a check up...the band aid fit perfectly on Audrey's little foot.

Hands on Museum

The power went out and it was HOT! So we headed to the Ann Arbor Hands on Museum with our friends Mary, Matt & Gwen and Amanda & Adalyn. We had a great time but when we got home...the power was still out!

We used to take walks for exercise...now Andrew likes to walk/ride. And here is what we find on our walks! He wanted me to take a picture!

Family Reunion

Family Reunion 2010-My Aunt Shelley and cousin Sarah with daughter Amiah, comes from Seattle every summer. So we were so lucky to get everyone together for a picnic at Grandma Ruth's house! We attempted some group photos. It was kind of hard with all of the little ones!

My goal on the next trip to grandma's is more swimming pictures! I only took this one with my phone. We did take a lot of video though! Andrew LOVES swimming in the pool! The water was a balmy 92 degrees! He puts on this tube thingy and goes everywhere! It didn't take him long to find his balance and he is getting braver and braver each time!

Audrey has taken over the pack n' play and Andrew is kind of too big for it, so he has been sleeping with us in the queen bed at my parents....not comfy! So we decided to get a blow up mattress. He loves it! He calls it camping! I thought this was a funny picture! Notice the sheet...from the college days :)

Parade

Since we were in town for the 4th we decided to head to the Clawson parade. Apparently there are tons of fire trucks from all over....we thought Andrew would be thrilled. The paper said the parade started at 10. It was SO hot but Andrew was excited to go so we headed out. We got there around 9:50. The parade had already started and after about the fifth political group went by, I decided to ask the people next to us if the parade started early. I guess it started after the last runner from the 5k went by. Oh and all of the fire trucks come by first. So we finally left...too hot and no fire trucks. Andrew didn't seem to mind. He got a lollipop.

I Want One

Andrew and I went to Toys R' Us for a few supplies...and they just happened to have this car available to try out. No one was at the store. Probably because everyone was out celebrating the 4th! We sent this picture to Auntie E. Maybe she will buy it? Or grandma? Ha!
